Welcome to the Sex Workers Outreach & Support Service (SWOSS)
This a new project designed specifically to cater for people involved in the sex industry in the Blackpool area and to provide any support they might need.
SWOSS can offer:
- A wide range of Kite marked condoms, dentals dams and water-based lubricants
- Help accessing any services you might need including;
- Sexual Health referrals
- Drug Service referrals
- Housing and benefits advice
- Education and training
- Counselling
- Domestic abuse support
- Help to exit sex work
- A drop-in facility Wednesdays 2pm- 4:30pm at Project 102, 102 Dickson Road, Blackpool.
- No appointment necessary. A support worker will be available to give you condoms and lubricant, confidential advice or just for a brew and a chat! Alternatively, a support worker can come and see you at home or at work, just give us a call. We are discreet, understanding and confidential.
- A "Dodgy Punter" network
- This board is on this website and in office. It details dodgy punters'
physical descriptions, descriptions of their vehicles and
locations of incidents. You can add information to the network
by contacting SWOSS anonymously by phone or text, or mention
it to the support worker at the drop-in or when she visits you.
