In response to the findings of the 2005 consultation, Lancashire County Council in 2006 contracted Shiver to co-ordinate the development of HIV and AIDS social support services in Lancashire through the:

  1. Development of corporate advertising materials
  2. Development of corporate service administration, assessment, monitoring and review procedures
  3. Development of service user tools
  4. Development of voluntary sector infrastructure tools – policy and practise
  5. Maintaining service awareness networking at all appropriate forum
  6. Development of focus and administration for voluntary sector forum, social work forum and future service user forum
  7. Launch individual and forum meets for voluntary sector services and LCC social work staff
  8. Development of service resources including leaflets, education and training packs.
