About Us  Previous Document

The Lancashire HIV Services Co-ordination Project is funded by Lancashire County Council through the National AIDS Support Grant. The project is in essence a developmental project with a primary focus on developing the capacity and quality of social care and support services for those affected by HIV and AIDS within Lancashire.

The project aims to develop systematic structures and protocols for HIV services in Lancashire while ensuring that services are service user centred and inline with national and international recommendations.

Additionally the project aims to represent and advise Lancashire County Council Adult and Community services and the voluntary sector, on matters concerning HIV and AIDS both within and outside of the Lancashire County Council boundaries and through the formation and maintenance of networks and partnerships.
