The service has been jointly commissioned by the Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Lancashire County Council Social Services (LCC) – both recognizing the changing needs of those living with and affected by HIV in Central Lancashire. The CLASS project operates from offices situated at 2 Union Court, Union Street, Preston PR1 2HD.

CLASS supports those infected/affected by HIV/AIDS in Central Lancashire – Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire. CLASS hopes to dispel the stigma and prejudice that surrounds HIV/AIDS, raise awareness of sexual health services, provide outreach services and capacity build in order to sustain the service user in addressing their own needs and support them to achieve their individual goals and reach their potential.
