Background to the Service  Previous Document

Drugline - Lancashire was established in 1986 with support from NCH Action for Children. Since 1993 the service is an independent charity, striving to provide a comprehensive drugs service to the county.

The service provides support for drug using individuals, their carers and workers. For individuals using at an experimental, recreational and dependent use level. Further the service covers drug use, be it legal or illegal and has remained to many the first service that people feel able to contact.

Drugline - Lancashire is responsible for all its funding and seeks short and long-term monies from various local and national bodies.
